Job Description:

As a Sales Rep. you will be helping homeowners find out if they are qualified to participate in the solar program to save money on their power bill, become more energy independent, and take care of the environment through the use of renewable energy.

Training and Pay:

Our training structure is unique to other solar companies, as we will walk with you and make sure you feel supported and competent as a Closer-In-Training before sending you out on your own. We’ve structured a 3 month gameplan with incremental goals to help our New Reps get started. Our New Hire payout is extremely competitive, as the average weekly pay is $1000 per week. Once you become a Closer we have a clear 1 year path to becoming a $100k+ earner.

Responsibilities:

Closer-in-Training (New Hire)

  • Educate homeowners about the opportunity to save money on their power bill through the use of renewable energy, and determine if they are qualified.
  • Travel locally and throughout North Carolina and speak with Customers via Door to Door sales.
  • Set up appointments for a Closer to come back to the home and go through a more detailed informational meeting.

Closer

  • Present a proposal to the customer in-home and clearly communicate details to help the customer make an informed decision.
  • Manage your pipeline and assist the customer during the path to installation process.

At Carolina Connections you will receive:

  • Our average New Sales Reps make $1,000 per week, at $200 per proposal meeting with a qualified homeowner, and an additional $250 if the deal closes.

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Strong Work Ethic and Self- Motivated
  • Able to work efficiently under minimal supervision
  • Enthusiasm and a Genuine Care for people
  • Driver’s license and their own Vehicle (Required)
  • Smartphone (Required)
  • Customer service: 1 Year (Minimum)
  • Door to Door Sales experience: 1 Year (Preferred)

Schedule:

  • The flexibility of setting your own schedule makes this opportunity ideal for family life, college students, and people with existing jobs.
  • We ask that every employee complete 30 hours of work a week, which can be broken up throughout the week or on the weekends at the employee’s discretion.
  • 2 Team Meetings that are at the same time every week.
  • New Hires who faithfully complete their 30 hours a week should have no problem earning $1000/week.
